MMS: Liberty County Exemplary Media Center

At the board meeting on Monday, May 10, Midway Middle School was awarded a plaque for the secondary level (middle/high) Liberty County Exemplary Media Program. To qualify, a media center must score exemplary in at least 14 out of 19 indicators on a state-wide rubric. Joseph Martin Elementary was awarded the elementary award. Each Media Specialist was asked to write a five page narrative explaining how their media center program meets and exceeds the rubric standards. This narrative enters the two media centers into a state-wide competition.
